The Wright Trades

SMS Terms & Consent

Last updated: July 31, 2026

This page explains how account-notification text messages from The Wright Trades and our trade products work, how you opt in with a separate optional checkbox, and how to opt out. It is the public Call-to-Action (CTA) for our SMS program.

1. Who texts you

Messages are sent by The Wright Trades LLC (doing business as The Wright Ones / The Wright Trades) and our product brands, including RoofWright, HVACWright, RestoreWright, SolarWright, PaintWright, FloorWright, FenceWright, LandWright, PoolWright, and ReportWright (together, "we," "us," "our").

Program contact: [email protected] · Website: https://thewrighttrades.pro

SMS may be sent from our shared messaging number (currently associated with The Wright Trades SMS program) or other numbers we register for this program.

2. What kinds of messages (Account Notifications)

We send optional account-notification SMS about an existing quote, job, appointment, or account - not promotional marketing blasts. Examples:

  • Quote, proposal, or report ready for review (link to view in browser or app)
  • Appointment reminders for a scheduled job
  • Job-status updates for that customer's project

This program does not use one-time passwords / 2FA codes as its primary content, and it does not require SMS to complete a purchase or receive a quote (email and in-app links always work). Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per job or account event). Message and data rates may apply.

3. How you opt in (Call to Action)

SMS is optional. You can create an account, use our software, purchase a subscription, pay an invoice, download a quote, or receive service without agreeing to SMS.

You can use every Wright product and complete every purchase without opting into SMS. Quotes and job documents are always available by email or in-app link. You will only receive SMS after giving prior express consent via a separate, unchecked-by-default checkbox. Providing a phone number alone is not consent.

Example of the SMS consent control

Wright products show a control substantially like the example below before any SMS is sent. The checkbox starts unchecked. Leaving it unchecked still allows email send and full product use.

Example: Send to client (product UI)

Unchecked by default · Not required for email, account creation, or purchase

Opt-in happens in one of these ways:

  • Contractor product users: When sending a quote or document, the contractor may choose Email, SMS, or Both. Selecting SMS means checking the optional SMS consent box (shown above) confirming the recipient agreed to texts. The contractor may leave SMS unchecked and still email the quote / use the product fully.
  • End customers of a contractor: Provide a mobile number on an intake or estimate form and separately agree to SMS about that quote, job, or appointment. Declining SMS does not block receiving the quote by email or other non-SMS channels. SMS is sent only after the client has separately agreed to receive it.
  • Written / electronic consent language substantially like:"I agree to receive optional SMS messages from The Wright Trades and its trade products (or from [Contractor Company] via The Wright Trades) about my quote, job, appointment, or account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service."

Consent is never a condition of purchase, account creation, or receiving goods or services. We send SMS only to numbers whose owner has separately chosen to receive it.

4. Sample messages

Representative customer-care messages (business name + STOP included):

  • RoofWright: Your quote [QUOTE_ID] for [ADDRESS] is ready to review: https://roofwright.pro/p/[TOKEN] Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • The Wright Trades: Your [PRODUCT] appointment is scheduled for [DATE] at [TIME]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • RoofWright: Update on your job [JOB_ID] - status is now [STATUS]. Details: https://roofwright.pro/j/[TOKEN] Reply STOP to opt out.

5. How to opt out and get help

  • STOP: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and we will stop SMS to that number.
  • START or UNSTOP: Reply START (or UNSTOP) to re-subscribe after opting out.
  • HELP: Reply HELP for help information, or email [email protected].

Carrier-standard opt-out keywords are supported. Opting out of SMS does not delete your product account or cancel a subscription by itself.

6. Privacy

Mobile numbers are used to deliver the messages described above and to honor opt-outs. We do not sell phone numbers. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data. Our Terms of Service also apply to use of our products.

7. Supported carriers & delivery

SMS is available to major US carriers. Delivery is subject to your carrier and device. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages caused by carriers or handset issues.

8. Changes

We may update these SMS terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of SMS features after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
