Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The Wright Trades LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates thewrighttrades.pro and a portfolio of trade-specific SaaS products. Our contact email is [email protected].

2. What we collect

We collect the following information:

• Account data: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up for any Wright product
• Business profile: company name, phone, address, license number, and trade type
• Quote and report data: job descriptions, client names, client email addresses, and computer-generated content you create
• Usage data: which features you use, when you log in, and error logs for debugging
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe - we never see or store your card number

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve our products and services
• To generate computer-assisted estimates, proposals, and reports (sent to service providers)
• To send transactional emails (quotes, invoices, account notifications)
• To send transactional SMS when you (or your client) have opted in - see our SMS Terms & Consent
• To process payments via Stripe
• To prevent fraud and abuse

4. Service providers

When you generate content in our products, your job description and relevant context is sent to third-party service providers. We use Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT-4o mini), Google (Gemini), and Perplexity. Your data is subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not opt in to training data sharing with any of these providers.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Supabase - database and authentication
• Stripe - payment processing
• Resend - transactional email delivery
• Twilio - SMS delivery (only with prior consent; see SMS Terms)
• Railway - cloud hosting
• Service providers - as described in section 4
• Law enforcement - when required by law

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and phone numbers collected for messaging are used only to deliver the opted-in messages and to honor opt-outs (see our SMS Terms & Consent).

6. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account exists. Canceling a subscription does not delete your data. You can still log in, review history, and export. Uploaded files and records stay available after cancellation.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, or by emailing us. When you delete your account, it is scheduled for permanent deletion in 14 days. Your personal data, business records (quotes, jobs, clients, invoices), and uploaded files (photos and logos) are permanently removed when that window ends. You can restore your account from the restore link in the deletion email before then. Billing records retained by Stripe may persist under Stripe's own retention obligations. Anonymized aggregate usage data may be retained for service improvement.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We may also use analytics cookies or scripts (PostHog) to understand how the product is used. PostHog data is not shared with advertisers. Our CookieBanner lets you control non-essential cookies.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be emailed to active subscribers. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
